Softball Preview: Eastern Montgomery Mustangs vs. James River Knights

The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the James River Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastern Montgomery will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

In what's become a running theme this season, Eastern Montgomery gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Everything went their way against Bland County as Eastern Montgomery made off with a 16-3 win.

Mary Miller tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
