 After flying high against George School  last Thursday, Calvary Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Calvary Christian Academy Cougars fell just short of the Delaware County Christian Knights by a score of  6-5 on Monday. Calvary Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Delaware County Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in May of 2023.
  Kenneth Davis was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 1-for-1 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run.  Micah Prate was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 On Delaware County Christian's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Cody Dill, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ryan Carroll, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
 Calvary Christian Academy dropped their record down to 3-5 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Delaware County Christian,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-3.
 Calvary Christian Academy will head out on the road to  challenge  Plumstead Christian at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.3  runs per game  this season. As for Delaware County Christian, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Valley Forge Military Academy at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Delaware County Christian is facing Valley Forge Military Academy at the right time seeing as Valley Forge Military Academy is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
