Zach Cwalinski Delivers Best Performance of Season

On Friday, Valley View got the W thanks in part to Zach Cwalinski playing the best football he has all season. Cwalinski rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards.

The victory (which was Valley View's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Cwalinski and Valley View will look to defend their home field on Friday against Wyoming Valley West at 7:00 p.m.

Nick Bradley Turns in Season-Best Effort

Nick Bradley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Abington Heights to the win on Thursday. Bradley rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns. He has become a key player for Abington Heights: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

Bradley and Abington Heights are taking a road trip to challenge Scranton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Bradley up against the Knights' star quarterback Brody Coyle. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Nick Kucharski and Co. Win Seventh in a Row

Nick Kucharski was instrumental in extending Valley View's winning streak to seven on Friday. Kucharski was unstoppable, rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

On the season, Kucharski has averaged 23.2 receiving yards per game.
