Hilltop Christian hasn't lost a match since March 4th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Southwest Wake Wolves. That's two games straight that Hilltop Christian have won by just one goal.

Allison Langress and Madison Blaesing scored both of Hilltop Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Hilltop Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those six contests. Southwest Wake dropped their record down to 1-4-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Hilltop Christian will head out to face off against Wilson Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hilltop Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Wilson Christian Academy has averaged an impressive 5.2 goals per game this season. As for Southwest Wake, they will be playing at home against Southeastern HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
