St. Thomas More is 10-0 against Lead-Deadwood since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The St. Thomas More Cavaliers will welcome the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers at 7:30 p.m. St. Thomas More will be strutting in after a victory while Lead-Deadwood will be coming in after a loss.

St. Thomas More is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Custer, who was ranked 12th at the time (St. Thomas More was ranked 18th). St. Thomas More sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 win over Custer on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cavaliers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lead-Deadwood suffered their biggest defeat since February 27, 2024 on Saturday. They were beaten by Wall 91-54. The Golddiggers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Lead-Deadwood now has a losing record at 4-5. As for St. Thomas More, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Everything came up roses for St. Thomas More against Lead-Deadwood when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 67-38 victory. Does St. Thomas More have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lead-Deadwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
