Soccer Game Preview: Pasco vs. Chiawana

The Pasco Bulldogs will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Chiawana Riverhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Pasco is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Davis on Saturday. Pasco fell just short of Davis by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to Pasco's undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Chiawana kept a clean sheet against Eastmont on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Wildcats. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Chiawana were the better team in the second half.

Chiawana has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Pasco, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Pasco skirted past Chiawana 1-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Does Pasco have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chiawana turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
