Recap: Santa Rosa Warriors vs. Lyford Bulldogs

There's no place like home for the Santa Rosa Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 69-55 win over Lyford on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Santa Rosa can attribute much of their success to Bryan Rojas, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rojas has scored all season. David De La Cruz was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Santa Rosa pushed their record up to 16-13 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.5 points per game. As for Lyford, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-13.

Santa Rosa will head out on the road to challenge Progreso at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Progreso has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2. As for Lyford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against IDEA Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. IDEA Riverview comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
