Elder has gone 9-1 against La Salle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Elder Panthers will host the La Salle Lancers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Elder is headed into Friday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 49-34 bruising from Wyoming on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Cowboys are ranked eighth).

Meanwhile, La Salle lost to Oak Hills on the road by a 40-21 margin on Tuesday. The contest marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Elder's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for La Salle, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Elder came out on top in a nail-biter against La Salle when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 42-40. Will Elder repeat their success, or does La Salle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
