Habersham Central had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Madison County Red Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 last Tuesday.

Despite the defeat, Madison County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lillian Conley had five aces and three digs. Those five aces set a new season-high mark for Conley.

Habersham Central's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Madison County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Habersham Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee on the 28th. As for Madison County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Franklin County on the 26th.
