Connor Sveeggen posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out nine batters over eight innings while giving up no earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
