Soccer Recap: Summit Charter Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Summit Charter can now relate to. They lost 4-1 to the Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals on Monday. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Summit Charter couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Blake Snoey, who's now up to three this season.

Summit Charter's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4-3.

Summit Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Triad Math and Science Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Triad Math and Science Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
