Basketball Game Preview: Lee's Summit North Broncos vs. Blue Springs South Jaguars

Having just played yesterday, the Lee's Summit North Broncos will head out on the road to face off against the Blue Springs South Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lee's Summit North has four straight wins, Blue Springs South has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Lee's Summit North will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Lee's Summit West, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Lee's Summit North came out on top in a nail-biter against Lee's Summit West on Wednesday, sneaking past 58-56. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Broncos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Titans are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Blue Springs South took on Raymore-Peculiar on Monday. Blue Springs South fell 51-41 to Raymore-Peculiar.

The win got Lee's Summit North back to even at 7-7. As for Blue Springs South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Lee's Summit North couldn't quite finish off Blue Springs South in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 and fell 53-50. Can Lee's Summit North avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
