Basketball Game Preview: NSU University Sharks vs. Pine Crest Panthers

For the first time this season, NSU University will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to challenge the Pine Crest Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

NSU University is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Saint Andrew's on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Sharks were dealt a 71-43 loss at the hands of the Scots. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Crest). They claimed a resounding 83-13 win over FAU High. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

NSU University now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Pine Crest, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

NSU University ended up a good deal behind Pine Crest in their previous meeting back in February, losing 60-45. Can the Sharks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
