Basketball Game Preview: Mundelein Mustangs vs. Waukegan Bulldogs

The Mundelein Mustangs will head out to face off against the Waukegan Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Saturday, Mundelein came up short against Jacobs and fell 54-45. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Golden Eagles 14-10 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 82 points the game before, Waukegan was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. The matchup between them and Lake Forest didn't end well, with Waukegan falling 40-25. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mundelein has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Waukegan, their loss dropped their record down to 18-7.

Mundelein came up short against Waukegan in their previous matchup back in January, falling 56-48. Can Mundelein avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
