Soccer Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Omaha North Vikings. Bryan were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Omaha North earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Bryan's goal came courtesy of Cinthya Franco, which was the first she's scored this season.

Bryan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Omaha North, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Bryan will challenge rival Lincoln High at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Omaha North is set to square off against their familiar foe Benson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
