Recap: Cary Christian Knights vs. O'Neal Falcons
The Cary Christian Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat O'Neal 76-38 at home. The victory was nothing new for Cary Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
Andrew Neal continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with five assists and five steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Cary Christian's points. Gideon Landry was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Cary Christian's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for O'Neal, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cary Christian will take on GRACE Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (GRACE Christian is ranked 101st, while Cary Christian is ranked 96th). As for O'Neal, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Berean Baptist Academy at 6:30 p.m.
