Baseball Recap: Providence Hall Takes a Loss

Providence Hall was the 10-2 winner over American Leadership Academy when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell 7-4 to the Eagles on Tuesday. The Patriots' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Providence Hall saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Rose, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Jordan Black was another, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Providence Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for American Leadership Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13.

While Providence Hall had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
