John Carroll Catholic is a perfect 9-0 against Ramsay since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cavaliers are taking a road trip to square off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Friday, John Carroll Catholic came up short against Homewood and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, John Carroll Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Homewood are ranked sixth).

Meanwhile, Ramsay has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and Jackson-Olin finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for Ramsay as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ramsay's draw makes their record 0-5-2 this season. As for John Carroll Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-2.

John Carroll Catholic took their victory against Ramsay in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 8-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
