Football Recap: Peninsula Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Curtis, Peninsula was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Bonney Lake Panthers by a score of 41-32. The high-scoring effort was just what the Seahawks needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Jacob Martin had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 163 yards and two TDs while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. Those 163 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Adian Muilenberg was in the mix too, providing Peninsula with two scores.

Defeat or not, Bonney Lake got some senior leadership from Gavin Davis and Chris Conte. Davis rushed for 79 yards and one touchdown, while Conte gained 35 total yards and two touchdowns.

Peninsula's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bonney Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Peninsula didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-9 victory against Capital on the 26th. As for Bonney Lake, they have also already played their next game, a 61-34 loss against Graham-Kapowsin on the 25th.
