St. Croix Central waltzed into their match on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They came out on top against the Arcadia Raiders by a score of 54-45. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Raiders are ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Croix Central's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games. As for Arcadia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Croix Central will venture away from home to square off against Baldwin-Woodville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwin-Woodville will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something St. Croix Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arcadia, they are taking a road trip to challenge Durand-Arkansaw at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
