Volleyball Recap: College Prep of America Takes a Loss

College Prep of America lost against Aqsa back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thunder fell 2-0 to the Legends.

While College Prep of America had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

College Prep of America has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Aqsa, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Looking ahead, College Prep of America will head out to challenge Unity Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aqsa will be paying especially close attention to the Thunder's match: after the Thunder face off against Islamic Foundation, they'll take on Aqsa again at 5:30 p.m. on October 10.
