Calhoun extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were dealt a 60-0 loss at the hands of Luverne. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Javontae Wiley threw for 62 yards on three of nine attempts. Robert Sellers was his top target, picking up 54 receiving yards.

As for Luverne, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 61.8 points this season.

It was another big night for Kane Smith, who threw for 139 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a pair of TDs on the ground. Another player making a difference was Khi Harris, who picked up 12 receiving yards and two scores.

Calhoun didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 32-12 win against Barbour County on the 10th. As for Luverne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 61-13 victory against Highland Home on the 10th.
