Baseball Recap: Fort Dodge Takes a Loss

Fort Dodge lost against Ames on June 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dodgers fell just short of the Little Cyclones by a score of 4-3.

Fort Dodge's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-11. As for Ames, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 23-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fort Dodge beat the Little Cyclones by a score of 5-1 later that day.
