Basketball Game Preview: Carson Colts vs. Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Carson Colts will jump right back in to play the Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Carson has given up an average of 57 points per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Carson is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since November 29, 2024 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through an 80-45 loss at the hands of Pacifica Christian. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Verbum Dei Jesuit was able to grind out a solid win over Wiseburn- Da Vinci on Tuesday, taking the game 64-55.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Verbum Dei Jesuit, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
