Basketball Game Preview: Los Alamos Hilltoppers vs. Robertson Cardinals

The Los Alamos Hilltoppers are taking a road trip to challenge the Robertson Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with 12 losses in a row, Los Alamos turned things around against Penasco on Saturday. They walked away with a 48-40 victory over the Panthers. The Hilltoppers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Robertson was fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Valley 66-17. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cardinals with their most commanding win of the season.

Robertson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Los Alamos, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12.
