Soccer Recap: North Sanpete Comes Up Short

North Sanpete fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Juab on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wasps by a score of 4-3. Surprisingly, this marked North Sanpete's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

They hit Juab with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abigail Philpot, Caleigh Mickel, and Mattie Goble.

North Sanpete now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Juab, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

North Sanpete didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Richfield on the 28th. As for Juab, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-1 victory against Union on the 26th.
