Baseball Game Preview: Chambersburg Trojans vs. Mifflin County Huskies

The Chambersburg Trojans will square off against the Mifflin County Huskies at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Chambersburg came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 11-2 to Altoona. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since April 1st.

Chambersburg saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was R Mills, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mifflin County). They blew past Curwensville 13-0 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

With the victory, Mifflin County broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-4. As for Chambersburg, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-10.

Chambersburg came up short against Mifflin County in their previous meeting on April 2nd, falling 4-1. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
