Volleyball Game Preview: Grayson Christian vs. Banff Bears

Grayson Christian will challenge the Banff Bears at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Grayson Christian comes in on 17 and Banff on four.

Grayson Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Texas Christian as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Banff made easy work of Northland Christian on Monday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Banff never let Northland Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22, 25-20.

Banff's win came from a few key players Grayson Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Emmi Price, who had eight digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Friesenhahn, who had 16 assists and three aces.

Banff was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in 17 consecutive matches.

Banff's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Grayson Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 30-17.
