Volleyball Game Preview: Springfield Spartans vs. East Dragons

After both having extra time off, the Springfield Spartans and the East Dragons will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Springfield will be strutting in after a win while East will be coming in after a loss.

Springfield will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Woodridge, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Spartans were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Ellet.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-7.

Springfield's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for East, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
