Baseball Recap: Ripley Find Success

Ripley came into Tuesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past the White Station Spartans 6-5.

Ripley picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-13. As for White Station, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Looking ahead, Ripley will head out to take on University School of Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for White Station, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 defeat against Munford on the 15th.
