After a string of nine wins, Northern Cass's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 66-65 to the Carrington Cardinals. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (62), the Jaguars still had to take the loss.

Northern Cass' defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Carrington, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northern Cass will challenge Kindred at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carrington, they will square off against New Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
