Baseball Recap: Brandon/Evansville Gets the Win

While Brandon/Evansville's victory against Mahnomen/Waubun wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Thunderbirds 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chargers have posted since May 14, 2024.

Brandon/Evansville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mahnomen/Waubun, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brandon/Evansville will take on Upsala/Swanville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Mahnomen/Waubun, they will venture away from home to challenge Win-E-Mac at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
