Basketball Game Preview: Christel House Eagles vs. Northside L Lions

The Christel House Eagles and the Northside L Lions will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Christel House is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 86-38 win over Purdue Broad Ripple. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Christel House got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was David Brigham Jr out in front who went 7 of 13 en route to 17 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Jackson, who went 9 of 13 on his way to 20 points.

Meanwhile, Northside L had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Central Christian Academy to the tune of 81-40 on Thursday. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while the Chargers are ranked 422nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Christel House better keep an eye on ISAAC ADCOCK. He was instrumental in Northside L's win, going 8 of 12 on his way to 19 points along with six boards and four steals. With that strong performance, ADCOCK is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of WILL SLAGLE, who made all 5 shots he took to post 11 points.

Northside L was working as a unit and finished the game with 29 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February.

Christel House pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Northside L, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
