Johnson is 7-2 against Brandeis since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. Johnson will be playing in front of their home fans against Brandeis at 12:00 p.m. Johnson's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Brandeis' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Johnson barely beat Clark the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Johnson put the hurt on Clark with a sharp 14-4 win on Tuesday. Considering the Jaguars have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, Brandeis was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of Reagan by a score of 3-1. The contest marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Marina Pichardo was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Brandeis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Renner Koloch, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Reagan Gallegos also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Johnson is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. Brandeis' loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Johnson took their win against Brandeis when the teams last played on March 5th by a conclusive 15-3. Will Johnson repeat their success, or does Brandeis has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
