Softball Recap: Straughn Tigers vs. New Brockton Gamecocks
Straughn won the last time they faced New Brockton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Gamecocks with a sharp 14-3 win. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 4, 2024, but that streak is no more.
Julia Harold was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
