South Sevier and Millard pushed the score to 9-2 the last time they played Millard, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Eagles 1-0. South Sevier's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Peyton Gibson, who's now up to 24 this season.

South Sevier pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Millard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, South Sevier will host Gunnison Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millard, they will square off against Waterford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
