North Zulch is 7-1 against Dime Box since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The North Zulch Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Dime Box Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. North Zulch's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four matches, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Zulch will head into Tuesday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 50-22 loss at the hands of Round Top-Carmine. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

Meanwhile, Dime Box played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Round Top-Carmine 80-23. The defeat continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Cubs: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Dime Box saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ta'Niyah Auston posted 13 points. That was a full 56.5% of Dime Box's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

North Zulch's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Dime Box, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

North Zulch beat Dime Box 50-37 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Zulch since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
