Basketball Recap: Nashville Christian Comes Up Short

Nashville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt an 83-46 loss at the hands of the Goodpasture Christian Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Cougars are ranked tenth).

Nashville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Goodpasture Christian, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

Nashville Christian will take on Davidson Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goodpasture Christian, they will welcome Clarksville Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Goodpasture Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 matches.
