Basketball Recap: Wheaton Comes Up Short

Wheaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the McAuley Catholic Warriors. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 43-38 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wheaton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for McAuley Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheaton has already played their next contest (against Southwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. McAuley Catholic has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against New Covenant Academy.
