Volleyball Recap: Niobrara/Verdigre's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Niobrara/Verdigre had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the North Central Knights by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Knights on October 9th, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

While Niobrara/Verdigre might've won, it sure wasn't easy: North Central scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 17-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Amber Sucha paced Niobrara/Verdigre's offense, picking up 13 kills. Sucha got some help from Starlet Nielsen and her 29 assists. Alayna Clark controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Niobrara/Verdigre's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for North Central, they dropped their record down to 15-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Niobrara/Verdigre didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Boyd County on the 28th. North Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
