Antonio Washington Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Bell got the W thanks in part to Antonio Washington playing the best football he has all season. Washington rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 22 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

McKinley Tech's probably not too fond of Washington given he always seems to get the better of them. When Washington last faced the Trainers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

Aaron Perkins Dazzles in Bell Victory

Keeping Washington company is Aaron Perkins, a fellow Bell player. He rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Anacostia's win bumped their record up to 2-4. Harley and Anacostia will play host again on Saturday to welcome Ron Brown, where kickoff is scheduled at 2:00 p.m.

A Season-Best Effort from Davieon Browne Leads Ron Brown over Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering

On Friday, Ron Brown got the W thanks in part to Davieon Browne playing the best football he has all season. Browne threw for 161 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in three touchdowns on the ground.

Ron Brown moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Browne and Ron Brown are on the road again on Saturday to play Anacostia at 2:00 p.m.

Butler Posts Huge Game in 55-6 Victory

Markeise Butler posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

For the year, Butler has run in those 1 touchdown while averaging 30.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after four games last season, he was only averaging 6.75 rushing yards per game.
