John Paul II is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against New Braunfels Christian Academy on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Centurions had to suffer through a 48-7 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Meanwhile, Geneva was able to grind out a solid victory over TMI-Episcopal last Saturday, taking the game 45-38. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.
