Soccer Recap: Lake County Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, Lake County was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell just short of the Arvada Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. Lake County haven't had much luck with Arvada recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lake County's goal came courtesy of Angelina Ramos, who's now up to six this season.

Lake County's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Arvada, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Lake County will take on Middle Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake County's defense better be ready for this one: Middle Park has averaged an impressive 6.1 goals per game this season. As for Arvada, they will square off against Englewood at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Arvada will need to watch out since Englewood have now posted at least four goals in their last six contests.
