Softball Recap: Rudder Rangers vs. Huntsville Hornets
Rudder came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 21-9 to the Huntsville Hornets. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Christina Lucio made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Lucio is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's stole at least one every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiley Newland, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
Even though they lost, Rudder kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Rudder's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Huntsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.
