Basketball Game Preview: Oak Harbor Rockets vs. Fostoria Redmen

The Oak Harbor Rockets will head out on the road to take on the Fostoria Redmen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, everything went Oak Harbor's way against Otsego as Oak Harbor made off with a 53-27 victory. Given the Rockets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Knights are ranked 636th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Fostoria didn't have too much trouble with Rossford on Monday as they won 54-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redmen.

Oak Harbor's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Fostoria, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Oak Harbor beat Fostoria 50-43 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Oak Harbor since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
