Basketball Recap: Grace Lutheran Takes a Loss

Grace Lutheran lost against Rockland back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grace Lutheran Royals were outmatched by the Rockland Bulldogs and fell 67-23. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 32nd).

Several Royals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Garrett Grayson, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points and eight rebounds. Grayson is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last five games he's played.

Grace Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Rockland, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Grace Lutheran has already played their next game, a 37-33 victory against Sho-Ban on the 6th. As for Rockland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-44 win against Hagerman on the 6th.
