Basketball Recap: Canton's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Canton had won three straight games and Teddy Winstel did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Canton Cobras secured a 60-54 W over the Salem Rocks thanks in part to Winstel, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 23 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Salem still got an impressive performance from Liam Reynolds, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nye Turner, who posted seven points and five rebounds.

Canton's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Salem, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canton will take on Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
