Basketball Recap: Johnston City Takes a Loss

Johnston City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Christopher Bearcats, falling 68-40. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 54-46 loss last Wednesday.

Johnston City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Christopher, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Coming up, Johnston City will look to defend their home court on Friday against Waltonville at 6:00 p.m. As for Christopher, they will head out on the road to face off against Vienna at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
