Football Recap: Hesperia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hesperia extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-6. They had to suffer through a 47-20 loss at the hands of the Mason County Central Spartans. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-6.

As for Mason County Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Pierce Bladzik had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 79 yards and five TDs on only nine carries, and also threw for 88 yards and one touchdown on only six passes. Those 79 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hesperia will host Hart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mason County Central, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Shelby at 7:00 p.m. The Tigers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
