Volleyball Recap: Sodus Comes Up Short

Sodus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Sodus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Rose-Wolcott, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sodus is set to challenge their familiar foe Gananda Central at 6:15 p.m. on October 1. Meanwhile, North Rose-Wolcott will face off against rival Lyons at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
